The history of Donezan is particular and original. The limits which draw the land scarcely changed along the centuries, because of its geography. The richness of its heritage is reflected by the diversity and complexity of its past. In turn, ground of the Catalan lords and kings, then of the counts of Foix and other kings of France  ; its landscape is marked out by the historical witnesses of those past times.

If the keeps tell us about the ancient lords of Alion, the « orrys » tell us the story of the shepherds of Donezan, who followed all these ways century after century. Now again and day after day, the shadow of the ancients seems to come before us on these paths where our fancy roams.... You too, go in search of the pastoral, agricultural and industrial heritage.

The Patrimony House, located in the medieval unity of Usson, is a case which gathers together all these historical hints. This is an invitation to travel in time, to a wander with no other limits than those given by your fancy.
